so are you saying Edward didnt fight for Bellas as much as Jacob did just because Edward didnt get hurt?That doesnt make any sense.Edward was just smart enough to know when to fight--when he knew he could win.Jacob just fights just to fight-whether he knows he can win or not.He's wreckless and foolish.

Edward fought for her during the whole series.Jacob just did it that once.

Atleast Edward loved Bella enough to leave her to keep her alive.Even though he realized it was a mistake--he was still thinking about her safety.He would rather leave her and keep her alive than stay and risk hurting or killing her.THAT is real love

whoa! ok I think ur going a lil overboard there lol And I think Jacob(the charactor) is pretty selfish.In new moon he did anything and everything to get bella to like him,without considering her safter.Including letting her ride motorcycles and cliff dive(I know he wasnt there when she did the cliff diving,but he still made it sound exciting to her) If he really cared,he would have done everything he could to keep her from doing anything dangerous,but al he cared about was getting her to like him.He took advantage of her emotional vulnerability when Edward left just so he could get her to fall in love with him

but I have to be honest--i think about 90% of girls just like jacob because of taylor lautner lol
