As Bella stands in the rain, listening to Jacob break his promise and shatter her heart, as Edward did months before, I imagine thoughts of better days with Jacob passing threw her head as he tells her to go away.

I'm not a big Bella fan, but I can't help but feel bad for her in parts of New Moon. Even if she did lead Jacob on.
