Comment by isabella m. cullen on October 4, 2009 at 4:25pm: i didnt plan on goin 2 a release party just go 2 walmart get the dvd, in my hands, get snacks, go home, get all the snacks ready nd sit nd have fun nd watch the movie wit my sisters, nd it did happen nd it was awsome!!!...we got 2 walmart at 11:56, yes i rmember the exsact time, nd it was like everyone followed us, cause as soon as we walked in nd got in line people started poorin' in!..thank goodness thier were like only 3 people in front of us so we got 2 get a special 2disc set!!...they gave out cake nd punch nd a little twilight gift bag, wich had a twilight bookmark, braclet nd candie!!!....hopefully it goes good again wit the new moon release!!!

Comment by BLK3665 on March 24, 2009 at 4:47pm: girl you think your Twilight Party sucked on Friday night~!? Mine was worse. mine was held at Walmart here in Kissimmee, Florida. Only 35 TWILIGHT FANS showed up and half of them were escorted out of the store because they were fighting over who would be the first person to get their copy of the dvd!!!!!! Well, seeing I was the very first person there, I got the very first copy free along with 2 sets of rubber bracelets, I run with vampires and Team Edward. Along with 2 free t-shirts also from Walmart. But, they did nothing special at all for the DVD release Party. Only a cake in t he shape of the apple on the Twilight Book. So, yeah, my night pretty much sucked. LOL! Maybe the next movie release party will be better than this one was.

My party I thought was ok, the Hot Topic workers were really nice and seemed excited to work late for the party. The manager was decked out in Twilight baseball gear, she didn't seemed to be disturbed. . I thought there would be more prizes way more of the hard to find merc, or new merc. I bought the Twilight record, but I was looking for the Cullen jewelry...which was sold out or still out of stock. I haven't a clue why it wasn't stocked up more. Hello!!! Perfect opportunity to make more money off of us. I hope everyone's New Moon dvd release parties will be better next year!

I was going to go to Borders but at the last minute i said no lets go to HotTopic. That was a big mistake. And the worst thing was i was in line and in front of me there where these f****** annoying stuck up girls and they keep saying omg every 5 sec. Oh and to top it off one of my best friends calls me an tells me how much fun the Borders party is and that Catherine Hardwicke showed up. But on good thing was she got me a signed copie of the DVD but i wish i could of been there.

We didn't have much expectation and it was CRAZY- long lines... lots of people.. but it was so fun.met some new great Twi-friends and got to see Ashley & take pictures--- we're posting them on our blog tomorrow (Sun.)
Sorry yours sucked! Sounds like they didn't know what to do with all those people :(
